i am the first one there before anyone including council members and the mayor. i unlock the room, put the coffee on, turn the lights on and dust off the chairs for the meeting then i select the most comfortable chair that the city can offer on the taxpayer dime. i am truely a involved citizen.  ;D

hahahahaha!

At times, the council caucus room gets so crowded that more people (the public) are standing than are sitting around the council caucus table.  The city has now provided about a dozen new folding chairs to be used when a crowd actually shows up for a council committee meeting.
