Fire on S. Portland

When walking home this evening, I saw this house had burned.  The first floor windows were boarded up, the second floor windows were broken out, and there were burn marks from the attic windows. 


I'm pretty sure it was arson, because it was bank owned, and was vacant for quite some time.

I have to wonder, does the arsonist (if it was arson) think they are doing the neighborhood a favor?  Or are they just sick, and want to see stuff burn?
