City cops probe West Side shooting

A man was shot on the city's West Side shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, Youngstown police said.

Police said the man was shot in the arm in the front yard at 117 N. Lakeview Ave.

They did not have his name and age available late Wednesday night.

I thought I heard a scanner report about someone being shot in the N. Lakeview/N. Portland area of the west side last night.  Has anyone heard more about this incident?
