Brickhouse Tavern (???)

I have not been to the Brickhouse Tavern.  The following is a clip from a TV27 News story in August.  It is owned by the same person that owns Utopia.

From there, head down Midlothian toward Interstate 680.  Two new businesses are getting ready to open.  One in a tavern that's been closed for nearly two years.

"This is a great area. It's all what you make of it, it's all what you put into it, said Eric Winner, owner of the new Brickhouse Tavern.  "I like Midlothian, I like the upper South Side.  I think it's a great area especially to have a business."

Winner already owns the Utopia bar on the South Side.  He wants to make his new business more of a dining establishment.

"Food, pizza, wings,  it's kind of going to be like an Avalon Gardens type of thing," Winner said.  "It's been all remodeled inside. It's set up for food service.  We put a lot of money into the building trying to change it over from that bar atmosphere, kind of bring it into a food atmosphere."

The former Toey's on East Midlothian is now the Brickhouse Tavern.

Has the inside of the bar changed?

How extensive is the menu?  What types of food?

What type of patrons does this establishment attract?
