Attendance at YSU Basketball Games

3,046; thats 2,046 more than all of last years games. And more people sit behind the hoops especially the ones on the south side of Beeghly nearest downtown.

This is a photo of the east side of Beeghly prior to the start of the men's basketball game on Saturday, December 17.  The men's and women's basketball double header had been heavily advertised on WFMJ TV.

Where are the Mahoning Valley's basketball fans?

If you follow this team you know they are good. They only blew 4 double digit leads to MAC teams.

They had 4100 the one game and 1300 the other game.

We got 2 doubleheaders coming up one on Saturday around 3.00 pm and one next wednesday at 7.

Both YSU basketball teams seem to be having a difficult season.  What has the fan support been like at recent home games?

I hope our community hasn't switched from following YSU basketball to following hockey.
