there should be national sale tax that everyone will pay no matter what the wage earner makes that is the fairest way to pay for a national healthcare plan for us residents.

...and under our current health care insurance programs, the poor have already run out of their money......
and 75% of Americans make less than $75,000 a year...

"Irishbob" will soon run into the problem the Margaret Thatcher spoke of when she said, "The trouble with socialism, is that you soon run out of other people's money".

Taxing the rich sounds great, but the question is what is the percentage of Americans that earn $102,000 plus as opposed to those earning 0 to $100,000?

Again a husband and wife earning $51,000 each filing a joint return  would fall under the $102,000.

We all know that in drafting a bill that the House and Senate make sure that their rear ends are covered as well as their staffs so you can write them off in your calculations.

Next, you can bet that the legislation will provide shelters for their big cash doners.

As for the corporations that you despise so much, you can rest assured that they will also be protected, and what they do have to pay will be passed off to their customers.

Since trillions of dollars would be needed, common sense tells us that the tax bill for those earning under $102,000 will be increased.

A progressive tax would be put in place for those individuals making $102,000 (6.2% or $1,116 ) and above per year and up to 3.85% payroll tax paid by employers and up to 3% gross receipts tax paid by business as well as funds from government sources.

Let me understand you Dennis, you advocate 100% free healthcare where no one pays a single penny for health care.

Where would the money come from to pay for it?

Lets get a little bit honest ... the money would have to come from taxes, so please be so kind (and honest) and give us the specifics ... just what percentage of our income would be taxed to pay for it. 25% ... 50% ... 75% ... 100%?

Again where would the money come from to pay the doctors, nurses, therapists, medical support personal, ambulance companies, pharmacies, hospital nonmedical staff, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers of medical supplies, and researchers, as well as medical schools and nursing training schools?

How nice of you "Irishbob" to care enough to want all this for the people of Ohio. By the way. How are we going to pay for it?
