I recently cashed a small check at a bank and was given a variety of paper bills.  One of the bills was a new, crisp $5 bill.  Later in the week I made a purchase and used the crisp $5 bill as payment.   The cashier looked at the $5 bill repeatedly as if it were fake.

Lesson from this experience

Only use old, wrinkled money?
