SOUNDOCTRINE TO MOVE OFFICES
TO DOWNTOWN YOUNGSTOWN

National Recording Alternative Jazz group SOUNDOCTRINE has secured office space in Downtown Youngstown to expand their music and marketing operations. Their new location is housed in the MyTown Business Development Center, 26 Federal Plaza East, Suite 309. The band will be doing business as SounDoctrine Multimedia Entertainment Group and will open its doors on Monday, March 9th.

"We are grateful for the opportunities this expansion affords us," says Jere B, the group's founder and spokesman. "We are committed to Youngstown's revitalization and felt that our being in the heart of the city would accelerate the growth we're experiencing musically and professionally and would inspire other creative artists as well."

Some of their new business ventures include expanding their Soul Food Music Publishing division and Niayana Recordings label to include Christian Soul Artist 'Stefano;' producing material for LA based songstress Gail Harris, preparing for Jim Couchenour's  upcoming "Quiet Canvas II" project and releasing their fourth album, "Inspire" in May. Additionally, SMEG is coordinating marketing for a new product, 'Vocal T' by local inventor W.G. Thompson which will launch in March and is providing musical ambience for the upcoming event 'Our Valley Cooks' at  Mr. Anthony's on March 14. "There are several exciting things on the schedule for this year and we've assembled a great team to help us successfully navigate the waters," added Jere B. He also stated that area musicians can send their demos to the office as well. "We'll assist in their career goals any way we can!" "But," he adds, "We're only seeking positive music. We don't do hardcore in any genre."

SounDoctrine's music continues to air nationally on The Weather Channel and planning for an East Coast summer tour is underway.
