10:00am to 2:00pm - FIRST LEGO League Competition in Eastwood Mall Center Court

3:30pm Performance by the Boardman Center Middle School Orchestral Ensemble

On SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7 the Art Outreach Gallery in the Eastwood Mall will be a convergence of local student performances and competitions. The Gallery will host from 10:00pm to 2:00pm, the FIRST LEGO League Competition in Center Court of the Eastwood Mall. At 3:30pm, students from Boardman Center Middle School Orchestral Ensemble will perform in the Gallery.

The FIRST LEGO League Competition will begin 10:00 with team judging at the Art Outreach Gallery and team practice in the Eastwood Mall Center Court. The team competition will begin at 12:00pm in Center Court. The awards ceremony will be 2:00pm in Center Court. The FIRST LEGO League Competition will include students from Warren Willard Middle School, Champion Middle School, Christian Star Academy from Mt. Vernon, Ohio and the Eastwood Mall Team, which includes students from surrounding schools including the Akiva Academy at the Youngstown Jewish Community Center. Students from the Trumbull Career and Technical Center's Tech Challenge Team and students from local high school Robotics teams will join the middle school students in Center Court.  Stop out to watch the students have fun competing in science and technology.

The Art Outreach Gallery is located across from American Eagle Outfitters, along the concourse between Macy's and JC Penney's. Gallery hours are Friday 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Saturday 1:00pm to 9:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. It is free and open to the public.
