Hopeful News For Valley

I read about this in the news also.

GM is putting off the construction of the Engine plant at Flint, MI to conserve
cash - and also because the 1.4 litre engines for the Volt and Cruz models
are already being manufactured in Europe, which means they can still meet
their projected production dates for both models, with or without the engine
plant in Flint.

Its ironic that the news article pointed out the biggest expense in building the
new engine plant will be the cost of the STEEL (structural) - something
Youngstown was built upon.

I sure hope so, because if GM goes belly up we're all in a big heap of trouble.
