I've added links to my website that will pop up player windows for several
of these radio stations (ie: the ones that use the self-contained Cumulus
Media Player).

We got better TV and AM Radio. They blow us out of the water in the FM Dept. with WKDD and WDJQ.... Especially in the morning.

You forgot 103.9===Rock 104. A very popular station among the college aged kids. It is a few years old, owned by either Cumulus or Clear Channel, I forget really.

I think we're so lucky because we're our own metro area.  Akron is in Cleveland's metro.  Canton's metro isn't large enough to support their own stations, so they get Cleveland's stations, too.

We share our PBS station with Akron.  I always assumed that all of their operations were in Akron? (or Kent, maybe)

Since I grew up in the Canton/Akron area, I remember when 23 (Akron's remaining commercial station) was an ABC affiliate.  And, Canton had their own independent TV station WOAC 67.  But, AFAIK, that station is now just for home shopping and infomercials. :(

Here's a list of Akron radio stations I found:
