Those who this flat rate increase will hurt the most may be able to take the bus to the hearing but they won't be able to take the bus back home because the WRTA transit service ends before 6:00 p.m.

Speak out against Dominion East Ohio's proposed rate increase

Consumers have a chance to voice their opinions about Dominion East Ohio's proposed natural gas distribution rate to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO).   In August 2007, Dominion East Ohio filed a request with the PUCO for a $75 million rate increase  (a 16.9 % increase) for the Dominion East Ohio east region.  Also, customers currently paying a $5.70 per month flat rate consumer charge would increase to $17.50 per month if the PUCO staff recommendation is adopted.
