To tell if it's a leap year, divide the last 2 digits of the year by 4.  If you get a whole ok

number, it's a leap year.  For example, the last leap year was 2016 (16 divided by

4 equals 4).  Try that with 2018 (18 divided by 4 equals 4.5) so not a leap year, nephew.
your nephew majored in art and general history minor in business with no math.

Why?Town

Well cc4 has that right.  I know because I went to school with a girl born on Feb 29th 1968. I remember how excited she was to have her 4th birthday party. It was Wednesday of 1984 and she couldn't wait to go out and get her driving permit. She's only got another 14.5 months to wait for birthday party number 13.
