PUBLIC HEARING

The Western Reserve Transit Authority will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1:30 pm, at the WRTA Board Room, 604 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio for the purpose of accepting public comment concerning proposed fare increase.

The proposed fare restructuring is as follows:

Special Services fare from $2.00 to $2.50
Adult pass price from $38.00 to $42.00 per month
Elderly and Disabled pass price from $19.00 to $21.00 per month
Special Services pass price from $38.00 to $50.00 per month   

These fare changes are proposed to be effective June 1, 2008.  WRTA will accept written public comment at its offices located at 604 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, OH44502 between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm until Friday, May 9, 2008.
