December at The Arms Family Museum

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will be showcasing the Arms Family Museum of Local History this December with it's annual Holiday Open House and the re-opening of The Valley Experience.

The Arms Family Home will be decorated with fresh greens, live flowers and other natural materials keeping in the 1905 Arts & Crafts architectural style for the entire month of December.

Kick off the month with our free Holiday Open House!
Saturday, December 1st
1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
View the decorations & kids can make pioneer christmas ornaments in the hands on room.

On Friday evening November 30th there will be a Preview Party from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Cost for this event is $15 for MVHS members and $20 for guests.  Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Bonus!
The Valley Experience exhibit is re-opening.  This is the Historical Society's main exhibit which traces the history of the Valley from the earliest settlers to present time.  History and technology will come together in this exhibit with several new video screens showing historic photographs.  Children will also be delighted with several new hands on activities including a 9 foot timeline puzzle!
