First Night Youngstown 2008 Call For Performers

First Night Youngstown is call for performing artists to submit applications to provide entertainment for Youngstown's 8th First Night Youngstown Celebration to be held on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2007, in various venues throughout the downtown and the university district.  Performances will take place between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.  All performers participating are guaranteed payment for performances.

Fist Night Youngstown is seeking a broad roster of entertainment, such as dance groups, specialty acts (clown, jugglers, mimes, magicians, puppets), storytellers and other entertainment geared toward children, musical groups (Pop, Jazz, Country, and Western, etc.), theater and poetry.

Applications for First Night Youngstown 2008 must be accompanied by a photo, cassette, DVD or CD, and a biography to be reviewed by the entertainment committee.  Materials must be current and a live audition may be requested.  Performing applicants should send materials to be considered as soon as possible.  Materials will become the property of First Night Youngstown and will not be returned.  Artist's applications are available by contacting the First Night Youngstown office at 330-744-9966 or by email at infofirstnightyoungstown@netzero.com.
