I plan to set up a daily cron job to run a script to delete old topics of 30 or X  days on the classifieds boards.
Thanks for always helping out and especially for moderating.
I'll definitely put up a notice about what is appropriate.

I think it's a good idea.

It's not that hard to set up, plus you can configure this software to automatically delete ads older than 30 days. Plus you get a couple happy moderators to help you keep an eye on what's posted.

The Mahoning Valley site has a classifieds feature that is not regularly used.
It requires a separate login from the forum.
Do you approve of a new category that will have classified sections for buying, selling, bartering, trading, freecycling etc?
This will eliminate the need for a separate log in.
The real estate section will remain a separate application because it has many extended  features.
