I can't listen well  in any car. Does that qualify as portable? It is difficult to make out what they are  saying.

Have you tried relocating your radio to another spot. I know that when I relocate mine even to another area of the same room I notice a difference in reception.

Another question: Do you have a portable radio, and do you have the same problem with it?

Can you summarize?

I have a question for all of you AM radio listeners.  I can listen to AM stations online easily but when I try from my car or home stereo the static and interference are quite annoying, to the point where I just can't stick with it  What am I doing wrong?
