Library Mystery Stones

For several months, pallets containing sandstone slabs were on sidewalk outside the back door of the new West Side Library.  Today we learned the purpose of the sandstone slabs.

The stone slabs have been used to construct two benches for the library's sugar maple grove.  The sugar maple grove was funded by a generous donation from the Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association.
