Knock and Rob

This was used a lot 8 years ago around this "hot spot".  Thugs knock (pound) on doors and windows to see if anyone is home before they break in.

Tonight this happened to a neighbor.  Thankfully (?) they were home and saw a person's shadow.  They came over their back fence walked up to the back door and pounded on the side window of the house.  It was so loud, other neighbors heard it.  YPD said there's not much they can do.  In broad daylight around 4:30 pm, another neighbor's dog was barking furiously.  When the  owner went to bring the dog in, they saw 2 in "hoodies" climbing over a fence.  Throughout the night we've been hearing about "hoodies" banging on windows of other houses in the hot spot. 

Be careful in your neighborhoods!  The kids are really scared because they heard the knocking.  They're afraid to go to sleep!  We quit opening our blinds and drapes a long time ago for fear of someone looking in.  In the summer, we NEVER leave any windows open, EVER.
