The Youngstown Symphony Chorus
will present our annual
Holiday Concert
December 3, 2006 at 4:00 PM
First Presbyterian Church
201 Wick Avenue
Youngstown, Ohio

Please join us for your favorite Holiday Tunes!

The concert music is filled with warmth and good wishes and will feature Holiday favorites. Choral Selections include  "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,"      "Snow, Snow, Beautiful Snow," "White Christmas," "The Many Moods of Christmas," Suite 3,  which includes "What Child is This?" "Hark, The Herald Angels Sing," "Bring a Torch, Jeanette Isabella," and  "Angels We Have Heard on High."  A Hanukah traditional, "The Feast of Light," will be under the direction of Linda Rein, Assistant Conductor.  The chorus will also perform  "Ave Maria," by Franz Biebl.   "Un drôle de cadeau de Noël," "The Christmas Song," and the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's "Messiah."  The Chorus invites the audience to sing along with the tunes "The Twelve Days of Christmas," "Must Be Santa" and "Silver Bells."

Soloists include, Leigh Altier, Karen Barr Cisine, Julia Catchpole, Phillip Clark,  Jeanine Haven, Ilene Merrick, and Rosemary Minghetti.

Kathryn Davison Miller will accompany the Chorus under the direction of Don Megahan.

A festive reception will follow with cookies galore.
