Absentee voting my friend, I just called the BOE and told the kind lady who answered the phone that I wished to vote absentee ... in 24 hours time, the application arrived in my mailbox, and today the ballot arrived. I've voted by mail the last 15 years so that my voting record has not been cut short ... I first voted in 1960 and have maintained a perfect record to which I am extremely proud. I doubt that our esteemed friend Jay can match my 55 year perfect record.

Exactly how do you go about voting early?  I've always voted at the polls, but since I know who I'm voting for as my councilman, I feel compelled to vote early.
