I thought Wednesday was the day for the endorsement meeting?

Any word yet as to who got the nod for the 7th ward council seat or do we have to wait till the very last minute to find out? The Democrats are so busy running the city into the ground that they don't have time to update their web site, and the local press doesn't seem to care one way or the other. Apathey my friends, the root of the evil called complacency. "Keep it under your hat ... keep mum" says the man behind the tree ... "don't make waves, be cool and go do your thing and leave the messy details to good old Dave."

I just want God fearing honest candidates that can be trusted. Most candidates I can't trust to carry the trash out to the dumpster much less the city's future.

I would like to have nonpartisan elections in Youngstown with the two top voter getters in a primary facing off in the November election.

Other cities in the valley have nonpartisan elections so it's not like inventing something new.

Today the Democrats will meet to crown their choices for the 7 City Council seats at the former Mahoning United Methodist Church. Tomorrow we will report on just who the gods have ordained to lead the city, and without question there will be among us some very unhappy people.
