If another entity can do an better job of running the city schools better than it's own
board of education - LET THEM.

There is no excuse for the sorry state of the city's schools.
if jesus christ and his twelve apostles were the ytown boe leaders this town wll still put road blocks in their way and the adm.

when kasich rode into town he did come out and say he will take over the ytown city schools after the nov elections. one must read btw the lns in the recent vindy article. he used the same language that the cleveland civic leaders used when they went to columbus, oh several yrs to convince the state to take over the cl city schools and they succeeded.

I might be wrong in whole or part, but I place most of the blame on the Board of Education -- including the Superintendent and his entire staff. They are as incompitent as Youngstown City Council.

jobs will not come to ytown until education is the main key to a successful life.

Is Youngstown a third world city full of crime and corruption? Is it a malignant cancer in an otherwise prosperous county?
