Ari Maron

Will be speaking to us in a presentation titled

From East Fourth to West Federal: 
Developing Mixed Use Urban Projects

Ari Maron started his career in urban development in June of 2000 when he was named Partner to MRN Limited Partnership.  Dedicated to the development of urban areas, Mr. Maron has worked diligently with partner organizations and officials from the city of Cleveland to secure the development of several downtown projects—The Historic Buckeye Building, a 36-unit apartment building; The Commercial Building, a 35-unit apartment building; the new 37-unit Frederick @ Fourth, luxury apartment building; the Holiday Inn Express; House of Blues Cleveland; Lola Restaurant; and The Windsor Block, a 52-unit apartment building.

Mr. Maron's commitment to downtown development can be seen by traveling down East 4th Street, his largest project to date.  With his oversight, East 4th Street is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art heating system, built in performance medallions that serve as outdoor stages, and the incorporation of public art with assistance from world renowned artist Cork Marcheschi.

Mr. Maron is a member of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and Mayor's Core City Development Committee, the Greater Cleveland Partnership Internationalization Committee, the Historic Gateway Neighborhood Committee, and is a newly appointed member of the Board of the Cleveland Chamber Orchestra.  Mr. Maron believes in giving back to his community and often participates in seminars and other speaking engagements about downtown development.

Ari Maron is a 1996 graduate of Shaker Heights High School and a 2000 graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Music degree, Magna Cum Laude.  Mr. Maron, a resident of downtown Cleveland, is a classically trained violinist, enjoys traveling, and expresses a deep appreciation for the arts and Cleveland's art community.
