Are there any churches in the area that could offer some heated space till the
Arctic weather is over?

Vacant school buildings with the utilities on (thinking auditorium or gymnasium here)
or perhaps the new indoor rec center in Arlington Heights where Westlake Terrace
used to be(?)

This cold weather has seen the occupancy of the Rescue Mission climb to about 160.  The building is so full that the Mission is allowing men to sleep on the pews in the Mission chapel.
