The temperature plummets to -20 , the section 8 house is not insulated. The windows that Leroy's-mama's booty caller smashed when the welfare check was spent before he got there; is letting the dangerous air in.  Nothing is in the freezer because Mama had to cash in her juiced up food card to buy crack to keep her numb to the cold.  The furnace gives out at 2AM.
Many with the same scenario in life now wonder what to do?  They start walking..............walking towards your house...............your heat.......................your food.
It's redistribution time..................to the walking parasites.
