Greetings all,

With the formation of a neighborhood coalition that sees and believes that a restoration and revitalization of a historic district in our valley is possible we are about to undertake a monumental restoration project. We are going to reclaim tile from a burned out row and restore not one, but two roof tops in original clay tile at the company homes in Campbell Ohio.

What we need is volunteers to assist in this restoration, you need no skills and if heights are not your thing it is OK we need plenty of ground crew. The 14.5 TON rooftop restoration is being funded by a new out of state investor who knows he DOES NOT have to restore the tile roof but does not want to damage the historical integrity of the site. He is funding all the materials for the underlayment out of pocket as he owns the whole row with the exception of one unit but is restoring the whole row anyway.

We are going to restore the clay tile rooftops on an entire row of the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company Homes and we need volunteers to help us remove all the tile from the roofs that will be used in the restoration. If you don't do heights that is ok we need air and ground crew.

Iron Soup Historical will be providing Lunch and Dinner with an after party and bonfire with good spirits snacks and fellowship.

The dates are May 4th and May 11th if we get rained out on the fourth.

You can sign up here on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/563740330324378/  or call us at 330-531-2883. We are going to slide the tiles off the rooftops onto a trailer to clean an inventory them so our skilled labor crew which we already have can repair the wood, lay down underlayment and replace the tiles.

This is an effort that will require at least 30 to 50 volunteers and is being funded by a member of our new Company Homes Owners Coalition. Mike Bloom is funding the project and Iron Soup Historical is 100% behind him as we own one out of the five units in the row that this roof is being restored in.

This is the first MAJOR step in creating an incredible historic district in our valley and bringing to life a monumentally important piece of our American History.

Please help us help our valley and sign up to volunteer. The food will be great, the people outstanding and the cause, well it is beyond description.

Thank you for your time
