You were never out late with your friends when you were in college???

Rick, according to reports she was a nursing student with no apparent connection to the criminal activity.  Just an innocent person in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Maybe don't sit in a car at 3 am in Youngstown if you don't want to get shot.

This is disgusting that some ghetto thug would do this. If they want to kill each other off, that's fine. No excuse to catch civilians in the crossfire.

A YSU student is in stable condition after she was shot early Sunday morning near the campus of Youngstown State University.
The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Two suspects were quickly taken into custody and have been charged. Cell phone video taken early Sunday morning picked up sounds of gunfire on Pennsylvania Avenue near the north end of YSU's campus. Police said the shots were fired at a car.

A bullet hit 23-year-old YSU student Brittany Johnson. She was rushed to St. Elizabeth Health Center where she remains in stable condition.

Two others were in the car but weren't hurt.
While responding to the area for reports of gunfire, an officer saw a man, later identified as Sylean Wilson, fire shots at a vehicle before running into an apartment building on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Police said at first they couldn't get into the apartment because Rashaud Lewis, who was holding the door open for Wilson, shut it on them. Officers did enter the apartment and found a gun between two window panes. Lewis has been charged with obstructing official business.

Wilson told police he fired the gun because he was shot at first. He is charged with felonious assault and obstructing official business. Wilson failed to give officers correct identification which was later found in his underwear while being booked into jail.

YSU sent an alert email out to students and employees briefing them on what happened, and in that email YSU police stressed there was no immediate threat on campus.
A student who said his girlfriend's car was parked on Pennsylvania Avenue indicated that they didn't see or hear anything when it happened, but noticed dings when clearing away snow.
"Got hit what looks like three times in the back of the car. One went through and just missed the wheel high, went right over the wheel," the student said.
YSU's Media Relations Department said learning about this shooting brings back memories of the February 2011 off-campus shooting that killed one student and injured 11 others.

Violence  seems to be boring in the City, let's get back to antifracking.
I pray the youth is alright.
