Attention weather lads, it's winter and snow is a major part of the season so why the big deal of getting all worked up? Now if it were a blizzard or ice storm that would be cause for wetting your britches, but what we got is no big deal except in the minds of folks that have nothing better to do than whine like two year olds when the weather isn't dry ... 75 degrees ... and cloudless.

iwasthere

i am going to listen to tt xmas dls until the snow has stopped from this ws.

irishbobcat

Snow is really coming down.....good thing I ran to Wal-Mart this morning and bought that flame-thrower....

melted the snow on the driveway in seconds!

iwasthere

i will wait till it happens then i will worry about my milk and ammo.

irishbobcat

Better run to the store and stock up on bread, milk, extra ammo clips for your semi-automatic...maybe pick up an
extra assault rifle in case the Yeti's are mixed in with the storm......

jay

Shovel the sidewalks and please remove snow from around any fire hydrants in your neighborhood.

Early Christmas morning the National Weather Service issued a series of Winter Storm Warnings for our area. The NWS forecasts heavy, wet, snow in the range of 6 to 10 inches beginning Wednesday morning in Columbiana County and quickly buiding in intensity. Visibility in the range of 1/4 mile or less is predicted with wind gust up to 35 mph.

Mahoning and Trumbull Counties will soon follow, with totals in Trumbull County predicted in the 10 to 14 inch range accompanied by 40 mph wind gusts.

The winter storm warnings are in effect from Wednesday morning to Thursday morning.

"Snowfall accumulation by [Wednesday] evening could be in the 6 to 8 inch range with another 6 to 8 inches overnight into Thursday morning," said Myvalleyweather.com meteorologist Paul Wetzl.
