my frds and family of my age back in the 70's would hold md carnivals for jerry kids during the summer. we usually had thm in aug duringthe june and july months we would ard the village asking for stuffed animals and knick knack items for prizes. the mothers and fathers would take care of the food and refreshments. all had a good time then wytv would send us off to idora park for free as an apprecation gift for our efforts on the behalf of jerry's kids.

This year's MDA Telethon will air Sunday September 2 from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM on channel 33, so due to the shortened air time it is suggested that you get your pledges in early. It was the decision of the national MDA to reduce the telethon to 3 hours, so the local portion will be drasticly reduced, so get your pledges in as early as possable.

Because the money generated on WYTV stays here, don't let them down. They won't have as much time to collect funds so they'll need all the help you can give them.
