Huge Fire On The East Side Today

Here you go. I didn't get there until 11:00am. The fire came in at 6am.

Marion's Auto used to do a lot of collision repair, but I think they close up years ago and now the building has been a storage facility for car parts that someone was selling online.  Marion's used to take in wrecked cars, cut cars with end damage in half and weld good ends together.  Seems hard to believe but two cars of the same model, one with a front end collision and one with a rear end collision can be sawed in half and welded together to make a complete vehicle again. 

I drove by at 10 am, the fire was still raging and they were still pouring water on it.  The buildings are a total loss. I think the complex started out as a lumber yard in the early 1900s.

There is a huge fire at an auto junk yard on the east side.  Someone said the fire is at Marion's.
