Oh!

By the way, the suspect sounds like he's a psycho:

"In the meantime, while police were responding to the suspect's residence on Plymouth, they were notified he had been seen near the Pyatt Street Market. When officers got out of their cruisers, Cardenas, armed with a handgun, came toward them and said: "You'd better shoot me. You're going to have to kill me," reports said."

He had an injury that could not be treated at the jail. So they took him to the Hospital for treatment/evaluation. I'm certain that he was returned to the jail after a Doctor released him....

Second slaying in 2 days probed

Some things just do not add up:

1. The Jail refused to take in the shooter.
2. The Police had to take him to St. Eves to incarcerate him. Since when was St, Eves a County Jail Annex?

UPDATE

Youngstown Police have one man behind bars after the second murder in just two days on Sunday.

22-year-old Marco Cardenas was arrested shortly after the shooting death of Jack Manigaul and assault of Tamika Riley.

According to police, just before 2 o'clock Sunday morning, Cardenas entered the home on Avondale, shot Manigaul in the head, and hit Riley with the gun.

Manigaul was able to chase the suspect down the stairs before he collapsed in the living room.

A 13-year-old who was home at the time fought Cardenas and was able to get him out of the home before he hurt anyone else.

Manigaul died where he fell in the living room.

Riley was taken to St. Elizabeth's and told police that Cardenas was her ex-boyfriend.

A short time later, police found the suspect on Plymouth Street and took him into custody.

Cardenas is charged with felonious assault and murder.
