Some of the other callers to the show made some interesting comments.  One likened the problems to a city living in the grips of urban terrorism.  Another blamed the previous administration for "punting" the problems to the next mayor.

The interview ended at about 10:00 a.m.

Ms. Jacobs said that Councilman Swierz did call her but did not give her any reason to be optimistic.

Ms. Jacobs is considering moving out of Youngstown because nobody in authority is willing to rectify the problems in her neighborhood.

She still feels the YMHA is useless.
