If all those jobs are going to Cleveland or Akron what's going to become of the Main Post Office here, or does anyone really care? It takes up a whole square block of downtown Youngstown, and if it's going to stand half empty, it won't be long before the post office decides to shut it down and leave another empty building for the city to deal with.

Nearly 500 local jobs and $500,000 in city income taxes could be at risk if the U.S. Postal Service decides to consolidate Youngstown's processing and distribution facilities.
David Bozanich, Youngstown's finance director, said the $500,000 tax loss plus increased unemployment would be a hindrance to the city.
"Either way, it's not good," he said. "We need every job we can get in this city."
