I think the city and county governments are "asleep at the wheel" for not paying
more attention to the whole issue of mineral rights, and the oil/gas companies
that have been quietly approaching city residents about leasing the mineral
rights under their properties....

So much potential revenue, so little attention to what's been going on....

Fourth Ward Councilman Mike Ray was the only Youngstown councilman to attend the informational well drilling meeting in Liberty Township this evening.   Those Youngstown residents in attendance were pleased to finally have a councilman take an interest in this issue.
