So it goes to say that these businesses have absolutely no problems paying the taxes required to support these "hard working" public employee's generous benefit and retirement packages.

A meeting of downtown business owners was held earlier this week to show support for their many customers who just happen to be public employees.  The business owners realize that if the wages of public employees are reduced, then the employees will not have as much money to spend at downtown restaurants and businesses.

Participating businesses are displaying this sign on a front window.  This photo was taken at the Lemon Grove Cafe on West Federal Street.
