Eligibility:
Any poet or aspiring poet of any age from the Mahoning, Shenango, Beaver, Tuscarawas, or Cuyahoga Valleys.

Winners:
Ten winning poems will be selected.

How To Enter: 
Type an original poem on white, 8.5x10 paper.
Enter by mail to

or deliver to Pig Iron Press, 26 North Phelps Street, Youngstown.

Open Theme
Line Limit: 35 lines
Limit: 1 poem per contestant
Any form or style eligible, rhyme or free verse
Deadline: Thursday, March 31, 2011

Winners Announced: Friday, April 1, 2011

Prizes:
The winning poems will be reproduced in large format and hung in THE ART OUTREACH GALLERY. Eastwood Mall. Niles and at PIG IRON PRESS, 26 North Phelps Street, Youngstown for National Poetry Month, ending April 30.  A copy of the displayed poem will be presented to the author, with Certificate of Prize & Exhibition, at a public Winners Poetry Reading at the Art Outreach Gallery, Tuesday, April 12, at 7:00 p.m.

Judging:  A panel of three judges will select, representing the Art Gallery, Pig Iron Press, and the Pig Iron Literary & Art Works.
