Six-month amnesty window for low-income Ohio drivers unfairly burdened by license reinstatement fees is an important start: editorial

The six-month driver's license suspension amnesty in effect until July 31 to forgive or reduce fees so low-income Ohioans can get their licenses back is an excellent first step. State Rep. Dave Greenspan of Westlake, who co-sponsored last year's legislation, should seek to make the amnesty a permanent feature in Ohio law, writes the editorial board.
