The building on North Heights is still there - I've seen it once or twice
while driving through that area...

It appears to be well taken care of.

Here is a picture of the Club House at Ohio and Redondo Road.

We all know that the section within the borders of Wick Avenue and Belmont Avenue and from Lincoln Avenue to Tod Lane was where the wealthy citizens of Youngstown once lived, most of whom were involved in banking and the steel industry, but did you know that at one time, besides having the Youngstown Fair grounds there that a country club was located not far from Wick Park?

1898 – Mahoning Golf Club established
1901 – The club is incorporated.
Club House and links established on North Heights between Ohio and Fifth
            Avenues.
1905 – A larger Club House is built at Ohio Avenue and Redondo Road.
1912 – Name changed to the Youngstown Country Club.

Later the club sold the land to Yale School, a private school in Youngstown that dated back to 1896.

Still later St. Edwards Church located a school there.
