NOR DID THE BEAN COUNTER!  HOW DO YOU LEAVE THE BEAN COUNTER OFF YOUR LIST?  Maybe a flyer was passed out, asking business to return it.  Even so, how does Old Precinct, Bean Counter, and Martini's get left off????

I bet the restaurants left off the list weren't very happy.  Because of the high circulation for the newspaper, that one story was read by more people than the combined readership of this forum, the downtown.com website, and the Claire flyer.

The Old Precinct did not make the list either.

Guys who cares! If Clair Maluso is making a brochure then let her. But if I were you go to the greatest site ever made: www.downtownyoungstown.com and their forums. My new home. They got a complete directory.

Maybe someone should call the Vindicator and suggest that they do another poll of
restaurants in the greater downtown area (including the lower north, south, east and west
sides).

Tomasino's Pizza was not on the list.  The restaurant is also open in the evening.  They are located at 103 West Federal Street in the heart of downtown Youngstown.

Anthony's on the River is like its name on the river. Its a 2 minute walk over the bridge and 5 minutes from Home Savings. The MVR Is a good 10-15 minute walk depending on where you are in the downtown including a deep hill to it.

A report appearing in the Sunday newspaper told of the effect the Chevrolet Centre has had on downtown restaurants.  I have a few problems with the report.

Not all downtown restaurants which operate in the evening were listed.

Some of the listed restaurants are not open in the evening.

If a restaurant located on Oak Street was listed, why wasn't a restaurant on lower Mahoning Avenue listed?
