Sheltering people from the cold

It would also help to get the word out that people who are on a fixed income
(ie: retired persons) or low income should get ahold of H.E.A.P. (Home Energy
Assistance Program) as soon as possible.

It would also be nice if the city/county would help people winterize and
weatherproof their homes to help reduce heating costs.  Are there any such
programs already in existence in Mahoning County?

Let's face it.   Many people in the Mahoning Valley will not be able to afford to heat their homes this winter.  I still think it would be a good idea to convert portions of our closed hospitals to serve as emergency shelters.
