220 to 215. 39 Democrats voted against it and one Republican voted for it. I would say this is probably not a good bill.

The House Rules Committee will take up the Health Care Bill at 2:00 PM Friday

This indicates that the bill will come up on the floor Saturday.

Note:

The Republicans will introduce a substitute to the Health Care bill that is all of 219 pages, but you can rest assured that the Democrats will not accept it.

There are reports that the House Health Care Bill will not be a slam-dunk on passage. A number of Democrats are having cold feet, and if this is true look for a very long day, and look for voting to stay open beyond the usual allotted time as the Democratic leaders do arm twisting among their members.

No doubt our Congressman won't be among those who will need arm twisting as he has made it clear that he is for it.

The House version of the Health Care bill will be going to the full House as early as Friday or Saturday.
