Gobbler's Run - Saturday, November 14

YOUNGSTOWN – First Night© Youngstown announces its first ever Gobbler's Run 2.5 Mile Run and Fun Walk, which will take place in downtown Youngstown on Saturday, November 14, 2009.

Event registration will begin at 7:45 am at First Night Youngstown Headquarters in the City Centre One Building located at 100 Federal Plaza East, Suite 150, in Downtown Youngstown. The Run begins at 9:00 am and the Walk begins at 9:10 am.

Each event will have a Male and Female division with prizes as follows:
·   First Prize: 6-pack FNY admission buttons; gold medallion; $25 gift card
·   Second Prize: 4-pack FNY admission buttons; silver medallion
·   Third Prize: 2-pack FNY admission buttons; bronze medallion
Additionally, two plaques will be awarded for the oldest and youngest participants in the event.

The entry fee for participants ranges from $20.00 for adults; $10 for teenagers 9 (age 13-18), and $5.00 for kids 12 and under. First 100 entrants are guaranteed a free t-shirt. Refreshments will be provided.

Any and all proceeds will benefit First Night© Youngstown, an independent non-profit organization whose goal is provide quality entertainment highlighting both Valley performers and Downtown Venues.
