I stopped in a local bank today.  I was dealing with a teller when a man in the line moved to the next available teller.  He said he would like to withdraw $1,500 in cash.  The teller stated, "the largest bills we have are 20s."  The man turned and left the bank.
I suspect he wanted larger bills to give for Christmas gifts.
