DEAR EDITOR:

Clean energy and climate policies would cost American households a mere 48 cents per day - approximately the price of one postage stamp.

In these tough economic times, we're all being mindful of costs. And as costs for everything from groceries to gasoline continue to climb, the costs of not solving our economic and climate crises grow daily.

Ultimately, a transition to free, renewable energy sources will stabilize energy prices, instead of leaving Americans subject to volatile-priced dirty fuels.

Driving investment in clean energy technologies will create millions of good-paying American jobs. We can't afford not to put America back to work.
