Niles police investigating alleged rape

An investigation into an alleged rape is underway in Niles.  According to Niles police, a 20-year-old girl was walking on the bike path that crosses over Grant Street on August 2 around 4:30 am. The victim was sexually assaulted by a man on a dark area of the trail.
