Maybe the work force has been reduced and they can't keep up with all that needs to be done.

  Jay, then you need to have as many citizens as you can get to call in the park office and name the
  parks/playgrounds that need to be cut.

There was a story in the newspaper today about Youngstown City Council's press conference.  The council listed five ordinances that should be monitored by residents.

- grass or weeds over eight inches tall
- cars parking on grassy areas or on the sidewalks
- loud music
- trash on the curbside more that twelve hours before pickup
- under 18 curfew violations

One of the complaints I heard from residents is that the Youngstown Parks Department hasn't cut the grass at several of the city's playground areas.  The grass is way over 8 inches tall. (see item 1 above)
