Youngstown Supermax guard facing drug, firearms charges

A grand jury in Geauga County has indicted a corrections officer at the state Supermax prison in Youngstown. The corrections officer, 20-year-old Skylar Major of Niles, faces one felony charge of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and three felony counts of possession of drugs.  Bainbridge Township Police pulled over a Ford Mustang being driven by Major along Route 422 in June.
