Youngstown Vindicator: Ex Post Facto- Main

Out of the aftermath of the closing of Mahoning County’s only daily newspaper, we will take a look at how this now historical resource can be accessed online and via microfilm.  Google News Archive and MyHeritage online sites will be explored, and Tim Seman will demonstrate how to search effectively and obtain articles with ease.  We will discuss the closing of the Vindicator and how this loss may impact genealogical research. New developments regarding the archiving of any replacement publications will be shared.  A brief tour of the Genealogy and Local History Center will follow.  For adults and teens.  Registration is required by calling the Information Services Department 330-744-8636 or online via the library’s events calendar.
